Certificate II in Dance

Gifted and Talented dance and ballet students in lower school have the opportunity to audition, and if successful, enrol in Certificate II in Dance validated by the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).

This course comprises studio tuition in ballet and contemporary dance. The delivery mode is practical and the assessment is by observation of performance.

The certificate course forms a recognised pathway in Australia from community - based dance schools, high school dance courses and other training programs into the vocational performing arts industry.

The cost is $150 and is paid directly to WAAPA.
